That means that the ipod offfers higher quality lossy than the zen, and has lossless support which is completely missing on the zen.So if you are interested in high quality audio, the ipod beats the zen by a long way. ipod offers aac, mp3, aiff, wav and apple lossless. Lack of gapless is a complete dealbreaker imo, its annoying as hell llistening to a live recordings, dj mix, or some albums (dark side of the moon being an obvious example). The ipod offers gapless playback, the creative doesn't. The picture is awesome and I barely ever watch live TV anymore. Now that I have the TV Out cable it's even better. I take it to bed and watch things while my bf will watch his crap on the TV.

I've recently gotten into Extras so I have both series on there which I watch when I'm on the train. I take trains a lot so I watch all my downloaded TV shows. I use it everytime I am not with another person and sometimes even with. My Creative Zen is by far the best thing I've ever bought in my life.
